Matthew Armstrong's

Matthew S. Armstrong was born on the ninth of June, 1975. Part
of his childhood was spent in Whitefish, Montana. He still dreams
of snowy forests and distant train whistles. This influenced
the watercolors for this book immensely.
By day, Matthew works as a concept artist for Sony Computer
Entertainment of America - drawing. By night he works on illustration
projects - drawing. He draws a lot. He paints, too. Usually
he draws before he paints; it’s a lot easier that way.
Favorite things include but are not limited to: fine chocolate,
unusual yet well crafted music, abandoned buildings with owls
in them, certain shades of blue, nostalgia and robots.
Matthew lives in a little house near Salt Lake City, Utah with
his lovely wife Isabelle and their year-old baby Claire. A year-old
in 2004, of course.
